Netflix, the biggest streaming service in the world, is now allowing users to watch a number of its original TV shows and movies for free who don’t have an account.
Netflix has set up a “Watch Free” page that is currently offering free access to movies and original series, which includes Stranger Things, Murder Mystery, Elite, Boss, Baby: Back in Business, Bird Box, When They See Us, Love is Blind, The Two Popes, Our Planet, and Grace and Frankie.
This free Netflix access lets you to watch full-length movies with all language options. However, it has a 30-second ad before the start of the movie, which the users can skip.
“Netflix is the premiere destination for all your entertainment needs. But don’t take our word for it – check out some of our favorite movies and TV shows, absolutely free,” the message on top of the watch free section reads. The company also notes that the selection of free movies and TV shows may change periodically.
In a Netflix help page, the streaming service says that people can access its free movies and TV episodes via web browser on any desktops (Windows PCs or Macs) and Android devices. However, the feature is not yet available on iOS, smart TVs, Fire Stick, or incognito mode.
“We’re looking at different marketing promotions to attract new members and give them a great Netflix experience,” said a Netflix spokesperson.
You can now watch some of the great TV shows and movies from Netflix for free at netflix.com/watch-free from anywhere in the world. You don’t have to sign-up or register, you can just press play and watch.
This is not the first time this year that Netflix has come up with promotional offers or new plans that offer free access to its originals.
In September 2019, it offered the first episode of Bard of Blood in India and Elite Season 2 in parts of Latin America for free.
