Currently, Netflix’s Online Help Center displays the following message:

Confirming the move, a Netflix spokesperson said that the company is “looking at different marketing promotions in the United States to attract new members and give them a great Netflix experience.”

Additionally, Netflix is also rolling out free educational content on YouTube and other forms of content sampling as another marketing push, reports The Verge .

Netflix’s decision to end the 30-day free trial promo in the U.S. isn’t entirely a surprise move. Outside the U.S., the company has been phasing out free trial offers in different markets since two years ago, starting with Mexico.

However, in other countries, like South Korea, it still offers free limited-time membership promotions.
